We slipped over into Kansas to visit Fort Scott this morning. Ron may get his fill of looking down cannon barrels on this trip. We drove north to Independence, Missouri and visited the Truman Presidential Library. I learned more about WWII and the effect it had on our country that I ever learned in school.

We stopped today in Macon, Missouri and will head to Hannibal, Missouri tomorrow to check out Mark Twain's Mississippi River attractions.
